She contacted me to arrange a special photoshoot for her Grandmothers Birthday.
I was worried the night before our scheduled shoot coz we had a big storm by us, but I went off the next morning
hoping that the weather played along nicely for the day. And it did, we had a fun shoot with everyone enjoying their
moment in the spotlight.

Living on a small holding they have a gorgeous modern house with a stunning kitchen. I knew when I walked in this
would be a fun shoot.

but give me a run for my money hehehe Which is nice to have, to keep me on my toes. Her little ones are
indredibly gorgeous so I always enjoy the pics I get of them.
This year Lynne brought along her 2 nieces for the shoot as well. We met up at the James and Ethal Grey Park
in Johannesburg. The venue fitted with their outfit choices so well to give a beautiful classic but also fun look.

important to actively document your family, but when they realise how important it is, it is often to late.
Remember that making memories is important coz one day you can't anymore.

Sandi arranged for us to do a shoot with her children in Duncan Yard, which was Amazing!!!
I've wanted to shoot there ever since I first saw it. What a beautiful tressure situated in Hatfield.
Sadly only Sandi's eldest 2 kids could make the shoot. But we had a blast anyway.
Dean who was on holiday from Dubai and Tegan were so much fun teasing each other while we wondered around the Yard

special gift to her dad (for his Birthday) and of course the rest of the family.
We had a great time at Dani's Dads home. There was a flurry of excitement for the party they
had that night for her Dads Birthday Party. And the photoshoot made it that extra bit special.

So some very good friends of theirs decided it was about time. hehehe
We met up at Magnolia Dell in Pretoria, and luckily everything was still green and lush.
Aubrey, their son, was so great. He did everything we asked him to with a huge smile on his face.
It was a great pleasure creating these memories for this s very loving family ♥

When Marelize contacted me, I was nervous as any photographer would be, photographing another photographer.
But in all honesty photographing another photographer is so easy!
They put in the effort to make sure that the photos come out the best way they can.
A photoshoots outcome doesn't solely rely on the photographer after all, and many people might think it does.
But your input into your appearance for the shoot is highly important. Having your hair clean and blow-waved nicely, adding a touch of make up.
Making sure your kiddies noses are clean and that they look cute in what they are wearing.
Us photographers have no control over how you arrive for a photoshoot.
And the new favourite of oh you can just photoshop that out, is one of the things that gives photographers nightmares.
Because it takes hours to go through every image to fix that little something in photoshop. Hours that aren't included in your package.
So this is why its an absolute pleasure to photograph another photographer and their family :D

After my shoot with Lianay, Marie wanted to so a shoot of the whole family. Sadly her eldest son
was not able to join us as he stays in America, but the rest of the kids and their partners, and
Lianay got together {dressed in matching outfits hehehe} and we had huge fun getting pics of
everyone.
